Day 59
I am still sick though. I had a cold or something last week.. and then Friday got a really bad ear infection that still hasn't gone away. If I don't sit or lay down all day... I feel about ten times worse. I feel the best if I lay down.. but after about a week of being sick, who really wants to lay down. Tomorrow at work should be interesting. I can't wait to drive up hill.. I hope it doesn't make my ear worse.
Day 57
My sisters cat. She never sits still long enough for you to focus. And of course when I was trying to take pictures she just wanted to sit in my lap so that I could pet her.

Day 56
I love reading. And whenever I take lit classes I spend a lot of time looking up words.
One of my favorite fantasy books is "Don't Bite the Sun." A lot of people consider it to be Science Fiction but it is not because it doesn't go into the technical details.
On a side note. I've been sick since Sunday night/Monday morning. This is the first day that I have felt ok.. but I still feel really sick.

Day 49
I opened three new accounts today at Schools First Credit Union. The third of which was most important. I set up my first retirement fund. I'm 21 now... too bad I didn't start at 18. I'd be a lot closer to retirement by then. haha. maybe not

Day 48
I need to work on night shots. By the end of the year I want to be better at them. I'm gonna need a lot of practice I think. This was one of the better ones and of course when I uploaded it to flickr... it got darker. I don't know whats up with that.
Tuesday, February 16, 2010
Day 47
Then about 5 seconds, the other dog came over and stuck his face on the camera. Got a little grass and slobber on it. What a sweetie.
For some reason, I am drawn to this picture time and again.
Monday, February 15, 2010
Day 46
My room is filled with books. I have three book cases filled with them. And of course I always want more. I have found that if I don't buy books, I save a lot of money.
And I have to say that Jesus' Son is one twisted and compelling books that horrifies you and intrigues you from the moment you start reading it. If anyone is interested, you can find out what it is about on Amazon here: Jesus' Son: Stories
Despite the fact that I am currently falling asleep at the computer and have to wake up early for school I want to read it again.... right now.
Sunday, February 14, 2010
Day 45
Went to the flea market today with my sister and mom. I almost bought a new-old camera today (not one of these two) but I wanted to stay within my budget. And I still have about $15 left over.

Here is a small peak into what I want to accomplish in my life. A person bucket list if you will. The list is about 69 items long, at the moment. Of course it is going to change over the course of my life. But for now.. here it stands.
Below is the full bucket list. Some of it is silly and a few things I have already done, but I was so young I can barely remember. And a few I want to do again and again until I get it right. The good thing is, i have already done a few things that other people strive for. Apparently Vegas is one of those things people put on their list along with creating a website and going to Disneyland. Camping seems to be a big one too. Some of my favorite memories are of camping. I would put Vegas and Disneyland and Camping on the list but they would be crossed off and put back on the list too many times to count. This is my list if anyone is interested. Here are some things that I want to do with my life. Starting now.
So Thursday I am going to look into opening a Roth IRA and Friday I am going to AAA to get my passport started.

Frame every so-called disaster with these words, “In five years, will this matter?”
I think that in the end, most of the things we thought were important, really aren't. In the end all that really matters is what you make matter. That means taking time to be yourself and understanding what makes you truly happy.
And in five years, the dinner that you messed up, the one that got away won't be as important. It simply doesn't matter any more.
It seems like a lot my friends don't quite understand this yet. My best friend says that she is so old because she is 21 years old. She has so much more living to do. So many things will make her realize how young she really is right now. I know that I am young and yet I am more mature then any of my friends my age. I grew up the day before my 20th birthday; I grew up the day my brother died.
Some of my friends think that it is age that makes you mature. But it is experience that matures you. It is life and how you interact with it. It is the choices you make and the way you choose to live your life. Because every moment is a new opportunity to live your life the way you want to.

Cake looks yummy. Only problem? I don't like cake, I just think it looks pretty. As I have gotten older (and yes I know I am still very young) I have learned to like cake more. I have also learned to like chocolate. When I was in high school and even younger I would not eat chocolate very much because every time I did, I would sneeze. And who in their right minds wants to sneeze chocolate on their hands? Then I started eating chocolate and found that I liked it. Although I still sneeze if it is only chocolate.

Day 41
Snowed on the pass last night. Took a quick photo on the way to work. You can definitely see the movement of the car.
Tuesday, February 9, 2010
Day 40
Sometimes in life, you just have to get wet.
Today when I left target, it was pouring. And of course that is the one day that I bought everything in the store. Then I had to drive to the bank. Ever notice how a little rain makes every bad driver even worse. Then I got home and had to let the dogs out. Of course I had to walk out with them.
It might snow at work tomorrow which would mean I don't have to drive up there. The pass can get pretty bad. It would also mean not getting paid, but hey. I'd rather be alive and poor than rich and dead.

I think someone should tell her Valentine's Day isn't until Sunday. I got a nice candy apple at work today, she said she wanted to make sure we all got ours in time. I love working with friends. It makes the time pass so quickly. It also means I can be myself and not get fired for being a smart ass or for asking questions when something doesn't make sense.

Green Tea and some study time. Spent most of the day doing laundry, drinking green tea studying for midterms. Gotta do it sometime.

Staying at a bar until closing playing pool means that all I want to do is stay here. But I learned something new. Apparently taking a B1 vitamin reduces the chances of a hangover. Didn't get the chance to try it cos I didn't drink that much. Took it anyway and I felt pretty good in the morning, except for the general lack of sleep. I might just buy some B1 for the next special event.. which I am sure is months and months away.

You ever notice that with the more ways you have to communicate, the longer it takes to get an answer.
And I really hate waiting.
Thursday, February 4, 2010
Day 35
I didn't really want to take a picture today.. so very uncreative right here. I just took it because I had to.
Wednesday, February 3, 2010
Day 34
Today.. I feel sick.
And at work..nothing went right. I spent most of the day doing nothing as my computer was fixed. I had it for about an hour.. maybe two.
Tuesday, February 2, 2010
Day 33
My sister's cat. Don't be nice to her or she will throw up in your shoe.
Today I got an email. My Transcend 16 GB SD card was fixed. From now on, I am buying all Transcend memory cards. They have a lifetime guarantee. Whoopee.

Day 32
This is a tattoo. The words are from the poem i carry your heart with me by ee cummings.
i carry your heart with me(i carry it in
my heart)i am never without it(anywhere
i go you go,my dear; and whatever is done
by only me is your doing,my darling)
i fear
no fate(for you are my fate,my sweet)i want
no world(for beautiful you are my world,my true)
and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you
((side note: this next part is the tattoo))
here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows
higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart
i carry your heart(i carry it in my heart)
